Lightbulb Our 2015 planned trip..

Soo.. we're planing our 2015 summer vacation/trip for next year and it looks like its going to be a good one. We're looking so far to hit Graceland (camp), visit fam in Austin TX (stay 1 night and maybe see Alamo if time permits), hit up 4 Corners (camp 1 night), visit fam in Pueblo CO (3 nights stay), hit up Yellow Stone (camp 1-2 nights), Mt Rushmore (camp 1-2 nights) and maybe a few other sites along the way which is still in the works. Right now working on the best highway routes, sites/attractions, CGs along the way costs and drive times etc. Unfortunatly due to the addl cost of fuel and alotted time for this one we're ruling out taking along the Jayco for this trip so we will be going old school with tents and all the gear loaded on a 5x10 open utility trailer.

Since we'll have the kiddies (9 & 13) we'll try to stay at a few Jelly Stones CGs along the way and burn up earned points for free stays, stay at hotels if its forcasted a downpour of rain, and stay with family while we visit. Still early but we have tons of travel books, AAA guides etc to look over to fine tune things. Anyone else have some input, landmark suggestions, tips..anything really?

You could try this Jellystone near Canyon Lake: http://www.jellystonehillcountry.com/

It's a little closer to San Antonio (for the Alamo visit) but should suffice if you have to go between Austin and San Antonio.
