Rocky Mountain National Park Glacier Basin campground

Just wondering if anyone has camped in Loop A of Glacier Basin? We understand there may be trees, boulders that can make using the slides challenging. Also we do not want to fill our water tank until we get close to the park...maybe Estes...but where can you fill? We understand the potable water faucets do not have the ability to attach a hose. We will be at a campground in WY the night before that we could fill but we not want the weight of the water as we climb up in elevation. Any suggestions.. we heard about a "water miser " that may attach to the National Park potable water faucets?..

If you go to the Reserve America site or Rocky Mt NP Glacier Campground you will find pictures of each site in Loop A. Width of the site is 11 feet which may crimp your slides yes.
I have yet to see a NP that did not have water spigots that prevented attaching a hose with an adapter. And usually the dump station has a drinking water fill hose..
I haven't been in that particular campground but have been in Yellowstone and GrandCanyon and Glacier etc and Moraine Lake in Rocky MT NP.. No issues with having to carry a pail of water around
You could contact the campground itself with your concern.. I wouldn't want to haul water up to Estes Park elevation either
