Route from Sarasota FL to Boston, MA

Taking our first big trip in a couple of months up to MA with our Redhawk 29xk and our car on our tow dolly. I plan on getting a truckers atlas along with probably that copilot rv gps app, but was wondering if anyone had good directions on which roads to take. I want to avoid DC, George Washington Bridge and NY in general if possible.

What part ofMass.? It does matter
We take 301 to I 10 to 95 to 26 to Columbia SC
77 to 485 outer areound Charlotte rejoin 77 to 81
81-84 ro Mass Tpk in Auburn this is only good for eastern Mass
Western MA get off 84 in Newburgh NY and take 87 NY Thruway to I 90 the Ny Thruway extension to Mass Tpk
This route has sone hills coming out of NC to VA there is a 7 mile climb
84 also has a climb out of the Hudson River valley
90 has a big climb out of Stockbridge MA and a whoopee descent into Westfield

Here are some screen grabs from a route planner I use. The app is called tollguru and is helpful for plotting different routes. You can set a few stops as you set up your route. For example the app would not send you through Atlanta. So I selected Sarasota as starting point Atlanta as first location and then lowell as next. In order to avoid a location such as washington you can put a location such as harrisburg and the system will route around Washington. Great app for looking at whole picture, tolls time and distance. It uses a fairly slow speed setting which actually comes close with fuel and food stops. I am pretty cheap and if a route is an hour longer but I can save money on tolls or agravation on heavy traffic I can adjust route.

Does the app show rest areas?
Connecticut has two One on each end of I 84
Pennsylvania has enough
In Mass on your route if you use 84 and the Turnpike there is only the one in Charlton
You can use 290 through Worcester or continue down the Tpk to 495 which is more toll but no Worcester traffic which can get bolluxed up at rush hour
I know the ice rinks around Lowell but not actually getting around there
Personally I would rather pull finger nails out rather than have anything to do with Atlanta
We go cross GA via back roads if we go up FL via 75
With a big rig I wouldnt recommend it
I'll have to check Tollguru
Does it operate in real time reflecting accidents and tie ups?

The app doesn't show rest areas, for rest areas, I use "next exit" or "truckers path". It does show traffic but I don't think it recalculates routes as traffic changes. As I said the mph that they use is very slow They show a drive from Vt to Cabelas in Hamburg pa at 302 miles and 6 hours 17 minutes but google shows it at 4:52. Once you pick your route you select directions and it takes you to google maps.

I really use several different apps, Toll guru quickly helps me decide on the route, then based on that I look at truckers path to determine fuel stops and finally google maps for directions and traffic avoidance.

I would not go through Atlanta either however someone had suggested it so I was curious, it adds a about 2.5 hours and 75 miles over route through charlotte and up 81.

Google never allows time for fuel
or pit stops and when towing we find that we have to add at least 25 percent

Get a trucker's or RV mapping program. DO NOT TRUST GOGGLE OR STANDARD mapping programs, They do not allow for low overpasses or no truck/RV routes even the trucker's/RV programs might have errors. They also might put you on the shortest route, but again your RV might not fit. NYC area has a few roads with restrictions and and I think Maryland has a few tunnel restrictions too.
