Scheduled outings

Here is what is planned....so far;

April: Desert Rose RV Park Fernley NV. This is our first outing with our Silver Wheels club where any issues are worked out from the off-season.

May: Jackson CA. , Rancheria RV Park

Topaz Lake with the club.

June: Eagle Lake Merrill CG North of Susanville, CA.

July: Grass Valley, CA. Nevada City. Club.

August: Hat Creek Hereford Ranch RV Park...CA. Club.

October: 49er Village Plymouth, CA......Wine Crush. Need a designated driver to visit all the wineries with all the 'tastings'.

Little Bear RV Park, CA. Club.

Napa Valley.

Fort Bragg.

Might try and fit in more but the WF is still working...but flexible.

All we need is the Pinnacle fixed.

How about you?

Man I HATE living by a schedule I just go when I want and stay as long as I want... most of the time it is no problem as I travel during the week (being retired is sooo rough.).

Hey Larry, any word on what caused the slide mechanism to break and fail the way it did?

Jayco & Lippert wanted photos of certain areas inside where the mechanisms are so the dealer put new braces to get the slide out where they could take photos. They were putting the slide out and it broke again but they did get it out.

Jayco said they never saw anything like that and Lippert thinks it might be a faulty clutch and they have engineers looking at it.

Hopefully will know more late tomorrow.

Due to the great weather we have been having in central Ky, we have already been twice this year to our regular campground/lake, and are heading back down today for another long weekend. Some highlights of the rest of the year are listed below:

Memorial Day Weekend-Green River Lake

6/15-6/18 @ Bristol Dragway for NHRA Races

6/28-7/1 @ Ky Speedway for Nascar Races

7/13-7/21 @ Lakewood Camping Resort (Myrtle Beach)

8/3-8/5 @ Green River Lake

8/17-8/19 @ Green River Lake

8/31-9/3 @ Green River Lake (Labor Day)

9/21-9/23 @ Green River Lake

10/4-10/8 @ Talladega Superspeedway for Nascar Races

10/19-10/21 @ Green River Lake

And anything else we can fit in, lol...

Heading to Desert Rose In Fernley, NV. tomorrow until Sunday with 10 rigs from our group. Will have pics.

The May Jackson, CA. trip had to be changed as they are over booked so we are now going to 49er Village in Plymouth, CA.

Heading to 49er Village in Plymouth, CA. Thursday.

Great CG where we have going in Oct. to the annual Wine Crush. Looks like we will have 2 other rigs joining us this year for that event and will be scoping out for the best sites for 3 rigs to be close.

Withdrawals...seems like we haven't been out in months.

Ducklings all over the place. Visited a couple wineries for some wine tasting and signed up with Helwig Wineries as we really like what they offer.

Here is one photo and a link to more on our PhotoBucket;

Next outing Oct. 4 going to Jackson Rancheria (CA) for 5 days. 3 rigs going and will take US 395 South to SR 88 over the hill which takes us right to the RV Park.

Thursday night dinner in the casino, Friday making corned beef and cabbage at our site and then Saturday we dine at The Taste in Plymouth. Anyone been there?

This is the wine crush weekend so we will be visiting a bunch of wineries during the days there.
