Six flags new england

Looking to go here for a week rather than Lake George six flags. Any suggestions? Is it worth going 30 minutes away or staying closer for less amenities??

Happy Camping!

Depends what you are looking to do in addition. Six Flags New England used to be Riverside Park which I used to go to as a kid in the 70's so it is the oldest park in the Six Flags fleet. It is a very urban area in Springfield which draws from nearby cities such as Hartford. The basketball hall of fame is nearby.

If you want a more rural setting, go to Lake George. There are other things to do such as Lake George itself or go to Vermont for a side trip. There are water parks in Lake George which I don't think you will find in Springfield.
