South Florida in May

My wife and I have scoured the websites - KOA/GoodSams to find a decent place in the Ft. Lauderdale are. Nothing I have seen looks acceptable at all. Maybe the website are not a good reflection of what is there. Anyone have a favorite CG in south Florida? We are planning to travel from Toronto Canada in May, don't want to be disappointed. Thanks.

Juno Ocean Walk is about an hour north of Ft. Lauderdale and is really nice, we stayed there 5 months last year. Short walk to the beach, pier is right there too. Campground is really nice.

We stayed at John Prince Park CG in Lake Worth, it is owned and operated by Palm Beach County, very nice large CG, well run and nice sites.

We will stay there the next time we are in the area.

We stayed last year in Markham Park. Run by Broward County. Very nice park, we were there for 4 days.

Some of those state/county parks only let you stay there 2 weeks, but they are nice! Jonathon Dickenson State Park is a little farther north but is really good one too!!

C B Smith Park, Pembroke Pines, is also a large county park with FU except for cable. A lot of restaurants and shopping within blocks of the park. The park has bike paths, tennis courts, driving range, and a large lake.
