Southern Loop Trip

We have planned our first long trip for our Whitehawk. We are going to take the long way around coming to and leaving a family reunion in Tennessee. Here is what we have booked

Pelican Roost Mayport Naval Station 2 nights
(Both of us are retired sailors and like to go see the ships)
Hunting Island SP, South Carolina 2 nights
Lake Powhatan Rec Area, Asheville, NC 2 nights
Floating Mill Park, Center Hill Lake, TN 4 nights. Dry camping Reunion
Deer lick Creek, Tuscaloosa, Al 2 nights
Grayton Beach SP, Florida 2 nights
Manatee Springs SP, FL 2 nights

We have never been to any of these parks. We picked them based on web reviews. We are using the 2-2-2 rule. No more than 250 miles per day. In by 2pm for 2 nights. DH is most worried about towing in the mountains. I am most worried about dry camping!

Thanks. This is our first TT. It's more fun than our old tent especially in the rain!

Yup! Lots of us began by sleeping in tents. It's so much better off the ground in a TT, especially when it rains!
