Stony Fork Campground, VA

My family will be travelin through Virginia April 1, 2012. We have planned to stop at STONY FORK CAMPGROUND, VA. Has any one had any experience in this park? I understand the park will have just opened up, any recommendations? I believe I should be able to get a site without making any reservations. We do have the Senior Pass, so the fee will be reduced for us.
