Take a trip with family to Orlando FL any recommend campsites??
Starting next week our family will be traveling from okc to the Disney world in Orlando FL. We will be taking I-40 east pass thru Little Rock AR, Memphis TN, Nashville TN, down to Atlanta GA, to Orlando FL. Any campsite recommendation along the route? Any recommended places to see? We will traveling with our 2017 jayco white hawk.

That's a long trip. What is your time frame? Is there a reason for going through Nashville?

High Falls isn't bad. It's off 75 approx 8 mi.. can't remember how far south of Atl, maybe 45 min?. Only issue I had was that the spots are first come first serve no reservation. The falls are across the road from the camp spot but not easy access

if you're stopping in NASHVILLE, we like Two Rivers, close to Grand Ole Opry and Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
Are you taking 65 to 20 to 75? S of ATLANTA we stop at FAIR HARBORS in PERRY, we've also used Cordele KOA, Eagles Roost or CW campground in VALDOSTA. In Jennings FL we've used JENNINGS RV Resort.

We have stayed at the following while traveling (I75) from north of Atlanta to/from Disney World.
Cordele KOA
Valdosta Oaks RV Park
Jennings Outdoor Resort
We were happy with each of these.

FYI-
If you are traveling on I24 between Nashville and Chattanooga, be prepared for steep grade between Monteagle and South Pittsburg.
A good side trip in this area is the Lodge Cast Iron Factory Store in South Pittsburg.

Thank you guys we are taking note on all the info you guys have provided. We don't have a route set yet. We could go south on I-35 to Dallas then east on I-20 thru LA, MS, AL and etc whichever route is easiest and have better campsites that will be our route.

I drive 285 in Ga bottom to top and top to bottom everyday. If I coukd avoid it I would. Construction on the 285/75 junction south of Atl Is nasty traffic and there must be at least 1 tractor trailer wreck a day in that area. I cincur, take 10. I only suggested High Falls State Park becasue I thought you where set on comin thru the highways of hell

I believe High Falls is north of Atlanta.
Twin Oaks is a great overnight stay in Hendersonille, GA It is right off exit 127 of I-75. 1/8 mile east of the interstate.
Home | Twin Oaks RV Park They have plenty of pull through sites with a nice pool, hot tub, and game room for kids.

High Falls State Park is in Jackson, Ga between Atl and Macon. We campd there the weekend of the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and driving "north" on 75 towards Atl it took us about 30 minutes to get to the track.

That's why a asked about Nashville. I would think the best route would be from Memphis to Birmingham. It's probably best to avid Atlanta. You can go from Birmingham to Montgomery to Dothan to Orlando.
It also depends on your time frame. How much time do you want to spend in the getting there.
There is a good park between Montgomery and Dothan. http://http://www.deerrunrvpark.com/
Also a good Pioneer Museum there to see https://www.pioneer-museum.org/
