Texas campground with restaurant nearby

Many of the campgrounds and RV resorts we've stayed at have restaurants in the nearby towns. But, we're looking for a nice (quiet and scenic would be a plus) campground in Texas with a restaurant within walking distance. We won't have our toad with us this trip and would like to avoid packing up to leave in our MH once we're settled in. The Texas hill country would be awesome.

We're doing our online search also but value any first-hand suggestions from you on any of your tried and true favorites. Appreciate it!

We just made reservations at Oakwood RV Resort in Fredericksburg. Looks to be a very nice park. Two restaurants within walking distance.

Take a look at Riverview RV Park in Marble Falls. It’s just across the bridge and a short walk from the famous Bluebonnet Cafe. Also easy walk to River City Grill and Chili’s.

Message me if you get this way and we’ll give you the nickel tour of the area.

Don

Since you will be in Fredericksburg, the National Museum of the Pacific War is a must see. So much to experience the admission ticket is good for two days.

National Museum of the Pacific War

Downtown Fredericksburg and the surrounding area is a great travel destination!!

That would be awesome! We'll put Riverview on our list for a future visit and will definitely let you know the next time we're in the area. So kind of you!

I'm a native Texan and we live between Austin and Houston. We've been to Fredericksburg several times and toured the Nimitz Museum and hiked Enchanted Rock, but this will be our first with our MH. Love this area!
