Texas, Sam Rayburn area campsites

Looking to spend about a month, December or January around the reservoir and would like input on the COE and NFS campgrounds that you know about in the area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mill Creek is my favorite on Rayburn. It is COE and facilities are a little outdated. If you plan to shower in your rig then this is a nice park. You can get spots next to the lake, covered picnic table and fire pit.
