On the plus side when they reopen the parks will be lush. I remember camping the week they reopened a section at Choke Canyon years ago. Amazing.

Have five boys with a lot of energy and can’t pull the coach out of the driveway.

I was supposed to head to Mineral Wells tonight. Was at the grocery store this AM for our weekly shopping and the park called me. Quite a bummer, but I get it. First time in my life Iím not gone for work, kid can learn online and fuel is cheap. But thereís Corona.

TxLoser,
Check out Lloyd Park in Grand Prairie if you still want to get the family out. Their camp fee doesnít include your vehicle entrance fee ($15 a day) so that makes it kinda pricey but theyíre still open for overnight camping. Day use access is closed.
