On the plus side when they reopen the parks will be lush. I remember camping the week they reopened a section at Choke Canyon years ago. Amazing.

I was supposed to head to Mineral Wells tonight. Was at the grocery store this AM for our weekly shopping and the park called me. Quite a bummer, but I get it. First time in my life I’m not gone for work, kid can learn online and fuel is cheap. But there’s Corona.

Check out Lloyd Park in Grand Prairie if you still want to get the family out. Their camp fee doesn’t include your vehicle entrance fee ($15 a day) so that makes it kinda pricey but they’re still open for overnight camping. Day use access is closed.
