Texas State Parks - Open

DW and I just spent a quite week at McKinney Falls State Park just south of Austin Texas. From all appearances, even though the campsites are on the larger side, the park was only letting campers in every other campsite, which provided great distancing between campers. Ben though a couple of days were on the warm side, it was nice to be back out again. Hiking was good and Onion Creek was running a bit high giving a better than normal view of the Falls.

Hats off to Texas Parks and Wildlife in getting the parks back open while managing recommended precautions. We felt very safe and easily achieved recommended social distancing.

Headed to Glenwood Springs CO on the 30th. Confirmed with all campgrounds today to make sure all were open. CO is also requesting precautions, but easy enough to comply. Two nights at Cheyenne Mountain SP and then a week at Glenwood Springs KOA.
