Who is going to view the Total Eclipse?
Getting pretty excited about viewing the Total Eclipse. We were going to fly the Lear Jet to Nova Scotia, but you can't view it from there, so instead we are heading out Friday in our Jay Feather to Lake Hartwell SP in SC. Made our reservations this past winter and got our Eclipse Glasses in April. We are ready.
Where are you going to be viewing the Total Eclipse?

We're gonna get as close to Hopkinsville Kentucky as possible. I've already mapped out some side/back roads to avoid the crowds if possible. The forecast is showing am showers that day but I know that will change since they really can't predict it that far out. Who am I kidding, they can't predict tomorrow correctly.

Since we live near what is supposedly "ground Zero" for Missouri, we plan to view it from the deck in our backyard. Yeah, I know, not to exciting but I believe we won't have to fight any crowds. We live in the "suburbs" of a town with a population of about 300. As my best friend said" You live so far out, you gotta drive back towards town to hunt !!!!"

We are going out in the back yard and look up with our glasses. We are in Charleston, SC, the last stop on the US mainland.
Sure hope it's not cloudy.

I didn't see anything on their website. I'll let you know how it was. Suppose to be many Lake Front sites.
