X2. Even in early June this year there were freeze warnings the nights we were there. May is a good time to see the animals, though. Bears are coming out of hibernation etc.
X3. We had snow in mid June when we were there last month! Temps ranged from 34 at night to 84. We had snow, rain & sleet while visiting. BUT go! It was a blast!

X3. It was a great time for us. Heed the freeze warnings. We stayed at Grizzly RV park and 3 nights in a row they warned all campers to disconnect their water hoses due to freezing nights.

With any luck, the mosquitoes are still “frozen” in May. They were horrendous in June, at least at Grizzly RV Park.

We were in Coulter Bay, Grand Tetons in early June. This is a good time of year for the parks. Still not too crowded. And this year there were no bus tours in Yellowstone. We drove through Yellowstone a couple different times, and enjoyed the sights. Our favorite is Coulter Bay. Hard to beat that view, and they have plenty of sights that can handle bigger rigs. We have a one ton 8' box with a 37' 5ther.
