Boondocking Dakota's

Looking for Boondocking recommendations in South or North Dakota.

Ideally large sites, pet friendly, reasonable trails, a place we can camp 5-7 days.

Vehicle, 36 foot 5th wheel.

Check the National Grasslands campgeound just west of TR Natl Park. Couple sites are reservable. On Forest Service web site.

Boon-docking means locations without electricity/water/sewer. So I am confused as to what you are looking for.

Are you looking for camping locations in the deep forest with no facilities or campgrounds with all of the facilities.
I would also suggest that you do some research on the two states and decide what you may be looking for as to geography. Some parts of both states are open plains where the winds blows Texas into Canada during the summer and other parts that are mountains and pine country.
