Boondocking on the river bar.

I have posted pictures of our camping on a river bar in our Seneca before and it’s a beautiful spot but can be a little rough but not to bad if you go slow. Here is a short video of getting on and off the bar. We bailed a day early as it started to rain and left before the exit got to muddy. Its a little rough but not bad if you go slow. The video is from our Rexing Dash cam.

No danger from flash floods? If you got advance warning, how long would it take to get the Seneca up on high ground?

I also do the Chetco River down near Brookings at Bend in the River as it’s one of my favorite fishing spots along with Winchester Bay for crab and Salmon. Winchester Bay RV Resort i always take an ocean side site.

Great shots...

I know exactly what would happen to me if I tried to do this haha...

I drove out on the sand down around NAGS HEAD one time. Like to never got back to solid ground haha... And I was in my trusty old Jeep hehe...

We just dont get flash floods here in Oregon, even with large storms that we have it takes days for rivers to rise. If by chance we did get one, I can be off the bar in about 5 minutes.
