The diverter door is probably closing due to low vacuum and it acts like the fan stops. Could be a loose hose or a small vacuum leak. You may need to add a vacuum booster tank if you don't already have one.

Even though this video isn't for a class c (You should mention your RV or better yet place it in your signature), this is likely what is needed to be done. Also, for reference, this issue can occur on even newer E450's (and E350's) but likely more common on older ones. ~CA

Just an FYI, my E450 does the same as yours but isn't all that bad yet, but still needs to be fixed soon. I found this link below as another option that you should consider. Be sure to check out the video at the bottom in this link which describes what I believe may be an easier repair.

Also, when I researched this issue I found that many people have done similar repairs, some run the line through one of the doghouse bolts and others run the line where the existing line was located. Some use different style vacuum chambers which can be found on Amazon such as the "Dorman 47076 Vacuum Storage Canister" (which has a built-in check valve). In any case, the end results are all the same and all the repairs for this issue that you can find on the internet are all very similar in what needs to be done with the main differences being with the replacement canister style and location along with where to run the new vacuum line.

Also, the vacuum chamber in the link below apparently has a built-in check valve instead of a separate check valve as in the video I shared earlier. ~CA
