Took the new trailer to the mountains for our first weekend boondocking. It's about 60 miles from home half of the trip is on a gravel road about a mile into the gravel I could see water leaking from the TT just thought that it was coming from the overflow line so I did not stop and look. When I got to the campground water was still leaking. Turns out a rock hit the low point drain and broke it clears up. It's about 25 foot from my pickup tires to the valve which is tucked up tight to the fram. I was lucky that I still had a little bit of water left but still had to make trip back home for more water.

Of all the luck...

Similar story....last camping trip of 2013 I ran over a small branch leaving the campground. This spring I find all my black / gray tank sensor wires had been ripped to shreds.

Fishfire that exact thing happened to us last year, a rock sheared it clear off. I had to stuff some balled up duct tape into the whole and then wrapped duct tape all around so it would hold water all weekend. When I bought a new drain after the weekend I bought an extra to keep in the trailer just in case it happens again. I thought it was a total fluke that a rock would do that, but apparently not.

I'm going to replace mine with the brass ball valve and then build a little metal box to go around it so it can happen again

It's happened to us in the past too. So we now carry extra spigots just in case!
