Lots of people with 15k a/c's, and other items, need two of the 58 db Hondas. Has anyone figured out the dbs they produce, running at same time?

I get that tracking stuff all the time. Just check on something ( like you did about a price ), and all of a sudden that very item starts popping up on ads, no matter what site I might be on.

Yeah, the pop up ads are one thing. An email??? Creepy.

You only need 1 Champion to run the 15k AC. There are other threads with the info on the Honda or Yamaha generators.

I just went and priced them (the Champion 3100W Inverter);

Overstock.com: $1069.99, includes remote start, nothing obvious about free shipping.
Champion 3100-watt Remote Start Inverter - Overstock Shopping - The Best Prices on CARB Approved Generators

Cabelas: $1099.99, includes remote start, "Free Shipping Eligible"
Search Results : Cabela's

Costco: $799.99, for the black-cased one with no remote start, "Shipping Included". (I'm not a Costco member)

If I could find one for $700, that might put it in the ballpark for me some day.

You missed it at Costco's by a week. Bought one 2 weeks ago for $699 while they lasted. Apparently I bought one of the last in that lot!! I'm not a member either and it cost an additional $35 for non members to buy.

Just wait a few months and they will have the same price. I bought mine earlier this year for the same price ($699). They seem to have the sale about every three months.

I like my Yamaha 3000 is. We used it for the first time last month on a 5 day boondocking trip to the Eastern Sierras in Calif. and were quite pleased with how quiet it was.

Those are nice and I am not knocking them at all, but the Champion is around $1000 cheaper. That's just too big of a difference for me. I said before, I had my Honda 2000 side by side to the Champion and could just barely tell the difference in sound, and I get so much more power with the Champion.

Costco is all about customer service. Why not call them, tell them you missed the sale and ask if they would sell you one at the previous sale price? Wouldn't hurt to try.
