Port Aransas, TX. Summer 2018 near beach mile marker 59.

Spent 2 nights boondocking on the beach, and will definitely do it again!

Camping at Loon Bay on the Lower Cambell lake about an hour from home. Some beautiful sunsets, starry nights, clear lake water and a shady spot for the TT. Temps were into the mid 30s (Centigrade) mid 90s F, and no breeze to speak of.
It's one of our favourite spots being so close and yet so far...

Just got back from 11 days outside of Jackson WY. We were about 10 miles out of town, thru the Elk Refuge in the Bridger/Teton Forest. Roaming near us that we saw were Elk, Antelope, Moose and Lots of Brown Trout.

Great spot. I parked there a week ago and fished down below. Good job getting that rig up that road.

I google'd the Bridger Teton NF and it shows 95mi S of Jackson. Is this where you were? I check these summer spots for the day when we'll have some time to get back to the West after our winter trips.

In the Jackson Ranger district of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Forest Road 30442 near the boundary of the Elk Reserve and the NF. I hope the NFS does not close this - like they did just south of it in Curtis Canyon.

... the fishing hole in the pictures is up the canyon a few miles. A high clearance 4x4 is required to get to those fish... There were a few mud holes and we had to drive thru standing water for about 100yds too. Once there... over 40 fish in plain sight where we were fishing on the bank.
