water fill

I have a 2015 26' grayhawk we recently purchased used. I am not sure what I need do to fill the onboard water tank for dry camping? what position #'s do I place the valves in the water box. ex. 2 and 6, 1 and 6 , country fill? I know this may sound stupid but in our previous RV you just put the garden hose in the spout on the side of trailer. thanks

Country fill allows you to pump water from a jug into the tank. 1 & 4
City fill tank is when you are using a water source to fill the tank 1 & 6
After you fill the tank go to 3 & 5 to pump the water into the faucets

If you are trying to pump water into the tank you may need to flip the cone screen where the hose connects to push the check valve open. When you're finished be sure to flip if back.

set the valves on CITY FILL and connect the city water supply to the water inlet. It should route the water to the fresh tank.

No, that will direct city water to faucets. If your valves are anything like mine you should have a tank fill setting. Once filled change valves to dry camp to draw water from tank.

From my notes, first valve should be @ #1, second @#6 to fill from hose.
If you are sucking in from a bucket for some reason and using the pump, should be 1, 4.

Ah, but this is why i take pictures too. My 2018 has valves like the below in the driver side rear storage compartment.
