Water transfer pump ideas?
Transferring water from large jugs to the RV fresh water tank is a PITA. Any ideas for a small 12V transfer pump that will ease the job?

This is the one I’ve been using for 3 years now. Easy to use, small, and parts are cheap. I had to replace the impeller (it’s rubber) last year since I wore it out. It took literally 5 minutes and $12 to repair. We full timed for 2 years and we used it every week to fill the campers fresh water from a remote source (Aqua Tank 60 gallon bladder).

I use this it works great. Takes maybe 5 minutes to empty a 30 gallon barrel an there's maybe a cup of water left because of the flat bottom

You do not mention what you have for a camper nor type of water fill.
I have a gravity fill port, and my outside shower is very close to it. I take the shower head off, I put my Water Bandit, on the end of the hose and shove it into the fill port. With the water pump turned off, I open the cold water valve. I go inside with my 7 gallon jug. I flip the valves at my water pump to winterizing, and place the pickup tube into the jug. Turn on the pump and watch the water transfer to my FW tank, while having a drink. It takes a couple minutes. But it is a very clean transfer, and no extra equipment is required.

Similar to others: I bought a spare ShurFlo 12V pump about 10 years ago, set up with garden hose fittings, I can pump into either gravity fill or city water pressurized connection to fill my tank. I could even use this to feed the city water inlet and just let it supply water on demand as if it were a city water supply and not use my on-board fresh water tank. I have a 45 gallon bladder which packs down to a very concise size for storage. There are good ways to do what you are trying to do.
Just keep in mind you probably want to be sure the container and the pump are both rated for potable water.

Well being I am a Milwaukee tool junkie I have this. Nice not having to deal with wires or cords and its easy to pack. Little spendier but it is on sale for much less all the time for the bare tool if you already have M18 batteries like I do.

I used to empty a waterbed with a drill operated pump. $3.90 at harbor freight.

Harbor Freight sells a small 12V pump too. I've thought about getting one, almost pulled the trigger when I had my trailer, but I don't have gravity fill anymore on the MH, so don't really need one...

My trailer 29.5BHDS also dose not have the gravity fill so I put a garden hose repair end on my winterization hose off my trailer pump and just suck the water into my tank with it. No extra pump needed. I have an Aqua tank bladder 30 gallon from amazon that sits in my truck bed.
