100 Amp to 30 Amp?
I am looking at going to Utah for my first trip and one of the places says "every space has 100 amp plug" my 26BHS is a 30 amp and all I can find online is 50 amp to 30 amp plugs, what do you do if you have to plug into a 100 amp plug? Thanks

They mean every site has a 50, 30, & 20 AMP socket. You would just use the 30A.
We just returned from a site like that, although not advertised as 100A

It is simply how different places name things.
When 100 amp is specified it is referring to 2 - 50 amp legs. The more common name is 50 amp. They ARE the same thing.

I am sure they are talking about 50a, which is actually 2- 50a feeds, I would call and clarify what they are calling it because you know they are a little weird the farther west you go! LOL

There are campground with 100 amp plugs, along with 50 and 30. Some of the larger class A are now requiring 100 amp service. I have never seen ONLY a 100 amp plug, always a 50 also and typically a 30 and 20 amp available. One campground I worked in had 100 amp service in a handful of sites, but it was a separate box with the more normal 50, 30, and 20 amp plugs in another box next to it.

That's a new one on me. Do you have any idea what type plug and cord is used?
I'll never need it cause mine is as big as I'll ever need.

I have never heard of such. Much less seen one.
100 amp? Assuming standard of the same type a 50 amp service follows that would be 2 legs of 100 amp service or 200 amp capable. You would have to call the local power company have them drop you a dedicated service. What does the receptacle look like?
I'm sorry, I think some facts have been mis-interpreted. Remember the standard 50 amp service IS, in fact, 2 - 50 amp legs or 100 amps total.

The link was very interesting, and looks like an amazing location.
The real interesting thing is that they are selling (lifetime lease) lots in the resort and sharing the rental income between the leasee and leasor. It appears from the site that the focus is to place small cabins on the leased lots, but you could also just make it an RV site.
So the 100 amp question -- I think what they are referring to is each lot location has 100amp service available from the power company. This 100 amp comment on the site is not specific to the electical hook-up connections available for an RV exclusively. In fact I would imagine if someone was to purchase a lifetime lease and placed a cabin they would want a 100amp feed to the pannel so they could add more high current items to the cabin than a typical RV would be using.
Just my $.02.

NEMA seems to run out at 60A.
There are plenty of custom 100+Amp connectors out there.
Needing more than 50A at 240VAC in an RV? Sounds excessive.
