We may think our RVs today are the most innovative, creative and "modern" ever...but this short documentary tracing the history of RVs is completely amazing. They were doing things "in the day" that no one is even attempting today. Told in a lively style, the film discusses RVs that had three levels, including a sun deck - on top of a car. An RV with a helicopter landing pad on top and another that you could drive from either inside - or outside of the RV.

Did you know that Airstreams were initially sold as kits? Customers were given the shells and then had to finish the inside to their own specs.
