1800 watt Xantrex inverter info?

Hi, my 2010 Recon 39C has an 1800 watt Xantrex inverter. Does anyone know if it has a built in transfer switch? and where I can get the electrical schismatics for my rig? Thank you

If it's a 2010, more than likely an add in by a previous owner and no telling what you have for a inverter setup. you will need to dig into it and search around. Factory schismatic will not help you if it was added. Good Luck

According to the brochure it was standard equipment which means it probably has a built in transfer switch.

135 gallon fresh water capacity
1800 watt Xantrex inverter
50-amp electric service
50-amp quick-connect power cord and storage
bracket
A/C chill grill
Automatic transfer switch with generator prep.

I'm thinking the transfer switch would be for generator, I doubt it trasnsfers the Inverter.. Inverter is more than likely connected to Ref/Microwave and one or two outlets.

The Xantrex Inverters 1800 watt that JAYCO uses have a built in transfer switch that allows auto selection from shore/generator power or Inverter power. Has nothing to do with the transfer switch for the generator. Totally separate issue.

Had one in our SENECA and our PINNACLE.... In the older Greyhawks they used a separate transfer switch for the 400-1000 watt inverters.

Right from their specs.

The Xantrex PRO Series Power Inverters are the perfect complement to generators when shore power is unavailable, to quietly and efficiently provide household power when needed. The PRO Series design is both user friendly and versatile. These power inverters feature a detachable, digital remote control to display precise inverter, AC source and battery status information from one convenient location. A built-in transfer switch automatically detects when generator or shore power status changes to ensure power is always available.

I believe there are some assumptions being made here. Can we get a picture of the inverter or the specific model number? Xantrex make multiple 1800w models, some are simple no switch, some have switch, some have both switch and charger etc...

Agree on the generator switch though, that is usually separate.

Thank you for all the input. I’ll get a picture of the inverter and post it.
