2015 Models

We were at the Minneapolis RV show last weekend. Talked with one of the Jayco Factory reps. He stated they are already making the 2015 models. I forgot when he said they would start delivering them, but I think he said in May, but it may have been March.

Not sure how true it is, but my dealer mentioned ours was a 2015. Was just delivered two weeks ago. Also another member mentioned he just ordered his and that it's a 2015. There was several changes compared to one that was delivered in December that we didn't take due to damage from a blowout and options left off.

That's interesting if they are indeed making 2015's already. I thought the 2014 Eagle color scheme with the black awning, water heater door and furnace door were a bit on the hideous side. Maybe I wasn't the only one who thought so?

We placed our order a week ago and the new upgrades that our 5th wheel will have is frameless windows, all led lighting, two sky lights one in kitchen and one over table, no window treatments in slide out just low profile trim, new color of floors a wood plank look in a gray wash, a wood panel back splash in kitchen not wall paper, we ordered brownstone but the new color option is almond with a tan color leather sofa and tan leather trim and headboard. That is what I was told that had been upgraded but we will find out the end of march when it's being built

I wonder if Jayco did a price increase since the middle of January if the rumors of 2015s are true? It'd be cool if I paid 2014 money and ended up w/a 2015.

X2 - our floor plan wasn't introduced until October, and to the best of my knowledge there has only been one production run (next one is April), so I'm wondering if it was really meant to be a '15 all along. Along the lines of the changes LivingLife2 posted, the trim detail in the pictures Jayco posted are slightly different from the model the dealer has.

I ordered my Jayco Touring Edition way back in the beginning of January. It was ordered as a 2014.

Yesterday as I was having the 5th Wheel Hitch installed on my truck, the sales rep told me that the VIN number barely came out a few days ago. I have the VIN number for my 5'er and the 10th character is 'F' instead of 'E'. This tells me that it is indeed a 2015 instead of 2014.

I am in the car business and I know how to interpreter the vin decoder really good.

That said, contact your sales rep. Request for the VIN # if it is already available. If the 10th character is 'E' then it is a 2014. If 'F' then you have a 2015.

Mine will go into production towards the end of this months. We are all way excited but the wait sure does feel like eternity. Is this normal?

The last Jayco i picked up from the factory a few weeks ago was ordered in Dec 2013 IIRC and the 10th character in the vin is an "E". It was indeed a 2014. PKEagle seems to know his vin#s

We ordered ours end of December. Received a good discount because it was combined with the dealers bulk order for the spring. I hope that at the least it will have the new frameless windows and LED lighting. Getting a 2015 would be a nice surprise but I doubt that will happen. Drove past the dealer today (even though they said they'd call when there is news) no new 28DSBH on their lot yet.

Our dealer informed us that Jayco will no longer make the 33bhts floor plan which left us in a mad scramble to scoop up a 2014 model. Any truth to that?

Jessie, I just heard that from a dealer this weekend as well. If you heard it to then I'm guessing it's true. Too bad, it's cool floorplan.

2015 are coming

I ordered a 2014 Jay Feather x18d On February 7 at the Detroit RV in Michigan. Went to the dealership later that week to pick out colors and was informed I will be receiving a 2015 for the price of a 2014. I couldn't complain.

I really hope I'm in the same boat. Ordered 1/13, supposed to be at the dealer around 3/27.

I think I'm going to get a 2014. That's what my dealer told me I was getting - but it'll be on his lot this week so we'll know for sure soon.

Again, you don't need the dealer to tell you what you are getting. Some of them are clueless. All you have to do is request for the vin number then look at the 10th character. It's not rocket science.
