2016 Price drop from 2015

So just looked on the Jayco website and noticed that our new 2016 Feather X254 that we ordered in April actually dropped $500 with all the same options.

Good news if you order now but not such good news when we negotiated before there was an MSRP and assumed from what Jayco told me that prices usually go up 3-4% each year.

Looks like a $602 price drop with the options we have on the X213. What's saving me is that the Canadian dollar got bad a couple months after we bought so the prices went up in the fall and are still higher now than what we paid.

I certainly hope you are still happy with your deal.

If I look back at transactions after they are negotiated and worry about every $100 I may have over spent in hindsight would be a very unfullfilling way for me to live. There are a lot of folks out there who bought houses in 2005-2008 that really wish they hadn't. But worrying about that now is a waste of time. Enjoy the camper.

I am enjoying it, thanks. Thought it was interesting and potentially helpful information for people purchasing in the future.
