I have had nothing but problems with the slide ever since I bought this vehicle I’ve spent $3000 in repairs and currently I’m going through another repair it could cost the same if the Dealer dealer does not stand behind their previous work.
The dealer says that Jayco did not manufacture the slide out correctly causing it to not retract properly and jam. Jayco says that I’m out of warranty and it’s my problem. They offered no advice on how to properly have the slide out fixed.
My Melbourne has now been in the repair shop twice For a period of six months.
I’m down to the point where I would never buy another Jayco product
I cannot believe that others have an experienced the same problem with a 24L Melbourne. The slide being an entire wall is extremely heavy and I think the system he’s under designed. Any comments?
