6 volt battery

I was going to address this in the other post on batteries, but felt I shouldn't hijack it. A Trojan T-105 6 volt battery with 225 mAh sells for $363.00 on Amazon. A Costco 6 volt battery with 210 man sells for #$83.99. Includes a one year replacement warranty. Is there something about the Trojan that makes it worth the difference in price? Thanks.

Everything on Amazon isn't priced for being sold.
I've seen dishwasher detergent being sole for $160.

T-105's in Canada are typically $220CAD. I got mine for $180CAD. I've seen them as low as $160. So in US dollars that is about free.
The first set I bought 7 years ago I paid $120 and the guy claimed that was dealer cost.

If you have any GOLF COURSE Maintenance shops buddies I would ask what they do with all the 6V batteries they change out every year. It seems most of the golf cart owners will change out their golf cart batteries every year without even checking them... big $$$$ but they can all afford it....

There has to a bunch of those floating around with alot of life left in them...

I guess there is still some 6V battery golf carts still on the road... Most of the newer ones have gone to a higher DC battery voltage...

Go with the Costco and save. It is what we did there are only a few battery mfg anyway and the Costco brand will do just fine if you take care of them. I think but not positive the trojan is made by the same mfg as the Costco. I get 6 years out of Costco battery what more would i want.

Interstate was relabeling their 12 volt batteries with the COSTCO brand. I just saw Interstate batteries on their shelves, as they were phasing out the COSTCO ones (here in Florida).

I got the T-105's locally for $135 plus $24 core charge each at a local golf cart business. May not hurt to look. They also offered a US Battery branded battery for $10 less, but I decided that the $20 want that big of a deal at the time given the reputation of Trojan.

I would have went with Costco or Sams Club for batteries had either had them in stock.
