I voted the best forum, because it's just so dang pleasant here. Helpful, patient members and great mods. I don't think I've ever seen a member get a warning from a mod for "bad behavior", and that speaks volumes to me.

Great job by all the staff!

I started on this forum for help. ... camped most of my life, but didn't tow anything until almost retirement. I got plenty of excellent help and advice from knowledgeable people in a friendly manner. So, yes, I really like this forum. I think one of the things you shouldn't take for granted is that people take time from their lives to share the information.

Also, the FACT that it's civil, friendly, and professional is because it's managed well. It would fall apart quickly, like many others, if it wasn't.

Not a big forum guy, but I do spend a fair amount of time on Plowsite.com too (hence the handle). That forum used to be like this, however, over the years many more people have joined and getting positive feed back from questions asked today is not always so easy and with so many people, i think it is hard for the mods to see everything that may get posted.
Not sure if JOF has a "flag" button on all the posts, but if not, that might be usefull in the future if JOF does get too big. EDIT: sure enough, the report post button is there if needed, good to know ;-)

Jayco has no ownership in this site, and has never officially replied to a post. But I do hope they monitor what is posted here.......

I have been very happy with all the help and ideas I have received here and hope through all my years of screw-ups camping I have been able to help a few through my mistakes. I do wish that jayco would spend some time studying the forum to keep an eye on quality issues that might arise from time to time. If I was in management at the plant I would definitely be here asking and trying to answer concerns customers might have but that's me. Great job moderators I cant imagine how daunting a job that would be on any forum. Luckily most people who camp are also understanding and helpful, that's why I love camping
