Absolutely NO complaints!

Back in 2015, When I first started looking for a new RV, I joined this Forum.
I almost decided I didn't want a Jayco because all the threads I read were about problems. This broke, that broke, this was poorly designed, that was poorly manufactured.
Someone needs advise on fixing this, or fixing that.

But then I reminded myself that completely happy and satisfied customers rarely post.

So, we bought a Eagle LT anyway and we did have 2 minor problems. I burned out a slide out motor. Yes, I did it by getting confused about which button on the remote was extend and which was retract and holding it on retract long after it had finished closing.
The other was replacing a USB charging port (which are crap :-)).

But we have now had our Jayco 5th wheel for four years (seasons). We've put 10,000 miles on it. Weeks and weeks of camping. AND IT'S PERFECT.
Everything works.
Everything meets our needs - storage, space, appliances, equipment.
We love it.

SO I just wanted to post my "I'm a happy camper" post so that potential Jayco owners can know that happy, satisfied owners DO exist.

If you're a happy camper - add to this tread!

Thanks for posting your satisfaction! I visited several owners forums during our search for the right brand to buy, and quickly realized that all brands have quality and durability issues, so it came down to floor plan and features for us. Iím tall, so I gravitated to Jayco because they have the tallest bedroom ceiling of all the mid profile 5ers. Weíve only had ours since August, and Iíve scheduled our first warranty appointment this Saturday to take care of 4 minor issues that weíve found. But overall I think Jayco built an excellent rig for us, and Iím really happy with our dealership!

Mark us down as satisfied owners, too!

2017 Jayco hybrid owner here. No major issues over the last two years. After reading all the negative posts here, I'm pleasantly surprised with my camper.

We have a 2016 Jayco JayFlight 28BHBE.
Caught a few issues during the PDI like a bathroom door that you were able to see into the bathroom thru the space between the door and the frame, found a screw pushing up thru the linoleum floor, radio was mounted crooked. These were all fixed while at the dealer. Just before the 2 years were up, the hot water heater igniter board went out and was replaced. Got 4 years (seasons) on the Rainer tires. Just had Goodyear Endurance tires installed.

These were all minor issues and when the igniter board went bad, I called Jayco and they approved a local dealer (5 minutes away) to do the warranty work instead of my having to take it back to the dealer 1 hour away to get the igniter board replaced.
I called Jayco and talked with customer support and they sent me all the schematics via e-mail.

We have been VERY HAPPY with our 28BHBE.

No regrets purchasing a Jayco.

X2, been happy with our 23B. It has had some minor issues, when we picked it up. Dealer took care of them quickly. Most I could have felt with, but the dealer is close, so I let them take care of them.

We have started to look for our next camper, unfortunately, Jayco does not make anything close to what we have been talking about, so we might go with SOB. But that is ok.

Our first rig was a 2014 28BHBE. It was as near perfect as could be for a trailer. We had a few problems, but nothing I couldn't handle. One "major" warranty repair (the diamond plate came off the front), but I had a good dealer. It was a GREAT trailer, and we made LOTS of memories in it.

April of 2018 we traded that unit in on a 2018 Greyhawk 29MV. Like the trailer we've had a few minor issues, but overall, we're completely satisfied with it.

Jay Feather

We have a 2017 Jay Feather 23rlsw with about 200 nights and 15,000 miles on it. JAYCO replaced the awning and we had the junk drawer bottom fall out. Very trouble free. We have it serviced every fall at our local JAYCO dealer(Apple Valley RV in Appleton WI with whom we are very happy) and look to many more years of enjoyment from it.

I can add our satisfaction here, also. We traded our Fleetwood pop up in, for a Jay Flight 19RD back in 2012. It's the smallest one they made, but the floorplan was what we were looking for. The corner bed was a compromise, but we were used to that, in a previous class A. It's never been back to the dealer for any warranty service. So far, everything
s working as it should, and I keep up on routine maintenance to keep it happy.

Now, our model is long since discontinued, and we plan on keeping it for a very long time.

Our 2018 321RSTS has had only a few minor problems that were handled by our good dealer or myself. 13000 enjoyable miles and looking forward to many more. Next camper will be another Jayco (but they need to create a Pinnacle that has all the livability features of the 321RSTS!).

4 years and just shy of 10,000 miles on our 23RB. Iíve had a few little annoying things go wrong like the loose bench seat and the USB plugs being dead. Aside from that, this little camper has been beaten down washboard roads in SD, frozen in Indiana winters and blasted by sand on the beaches of the Gulf Coast. We are very happy with our Jayco to this point.

Great to hear a story of a good experience.

Two things lead to disappointment, unrealistic and realistic expectations not being met. After a year of research including reading a ton of post on various RV forums our expectation was we'd experience a few issues as we broken in our first new RV. Our expectations were met . We did have a few issues but fortunately none of the cancel or cut your trip short kind and all fixed under warranty.

The next six years were problem free and we traded it in with the same expectations on the new trailer but with a little more wisdom about how to do a pre-buy inspection. After 1,500 miles and 68 nights over the last two seasons it's been problem free camping. I'm sure the limited miles helps (shock and vibration from travel is probable a major contributor to some issues experienced) but so far all the systems have functioned well. Of course we're now outside the warranty period so next season I might be singing a different tune.

We were very happy with the new Jayfeather 27 rl we bought. Yes it did have some problems. But after the first time we turned it in we were more upset with the dealer and the service dept. The service dept screwed up more things than what was wrong with the trailer that we told them about. We had to turn it in again to another dealer cause we had a problem and the problem was fixed lickly split. We know that these trailer take a beating going down the road and things are going to get messed up. .

Great to hear all the encouraging comments!

2017 291RSTS, had a couple issues I fixed myself, other than touching up caulking myself as needed, no warranty issues. About 5000 miles, some very rough boon docking, about 100 nights.

Iím thrilled with everything.

We just returned from Corpus Christi and rolled 20,000 trouble free miles on our 2017 29RKS. We have towed from San Diego to Bar Harbor, from the Grand Tetons to the Florida panhandle, generally avoiding interstates (and unpaved roads). Aside from replacing the Furion stereo and small water leak (repaired by the dealer) when new, and new tires, absolutely NO problems.

I have a screw pushing up through the linoleum floor also. What did you do to fix this? I don't want to take it to the shop for that.

While our Jayco’s haven’t been perfect, (this Pinnacle is our 4th in 16 years) they’ve been far better than the experience we’ve seen others enjoy with their non-Jayco’s. I think the biggest element for us has been a dealer who addresses issues when they take delivery from the factory and keeps an open mind when we present a concern.
