ADCO cover is history

My ADCO cover on my TT is history due to a wicked storm that blew thru last night. Ripped the seam from front to back from the 100 KPH winds which also destroyed my greenhouse

Yes, they should be marked "disposable after every wind storm".

Yes that wind reached 60-65 MPH yesterday and I slept with my clothes on last night just on case. My house is surrounded by trees and the setting may look nice but their dangerous and a PIA.

Yes, unfortunately the storm took a life too, a large Hemlock fell through her house where she was sleeping while her husband and two grown sons were downstairs.

I store it beside my house. I am up in the Murrayvile area...my TT was parked on the West side of my property beside my house where apparently was where the brunt of the wind was hitting. It took out my small greenhouse too. The cover was only 3 yrs old.

I noticed mine has a couple holes from the gutter spouts. But it survived that was a nasty storm. We are camping Easter weekend in Fort Langley so dewinterize when I get home after spending this week in Arizona.

3 winters is a normal lifespan for my covers. I think only once did I get 4 years.

That's why I quit using covers, we live on top of a very high ridge, and the wind gets pretty bad at times all year long.

I have found that if you keep up with the maintenance, that is, seals, sealant and wax among other things which should be done on a regular bases anyway. You won't have any problems.

When I first got married years ago, we lived in a mobile home which basically is a glorified travel trailer, I never put a cover on it. LOL

Before you guys that live in mobile homes get on me, I'm not putting down mobile homes, in fact, now that I'm older, I'm considering getting rid of my house and buying another one. A lot less to keep up with.

I have an Adco cover for a X213 if you are interested. It was used one winter. We traded our 213 in for the X254. It does have a small hole in it(easily repairable)though. Let me know if your interested.

Thanks, I noted that you are in the States, given the exchange rates and shipping, I am just going buy a new one. I appreciate your offer though. a buddy of mine who owns a RV repair shop is going to order me a new one.

I am definitely interested. Where are you located and do you still have the storage bag for the cover?
