Adding deep winter floor mats to vinyl floor?

I'm planning on hitting the road this fall, maybe by Nov/Dec.

I have the flat black vinyl flooring in the front of my E450 and I want to put in some W51 WeatherTech All-Weather Front Floor Mats - Black.

These are meant to be held in place on carpet with tiny little pokey thingies.

Any ideas on keeping them from scooching around in the vinyl floor?

I bought a set of WeatherTech mats. Since they are custom cut to fit the space, there isn't much movement.

Ahhhh thanks for the replies, good food for thought. I guess you're correct, if they fit well there might not even be room to move around. I just saw some commentary on a website saying "NOT for vinyl floors" and took caution.

Also there's a carpet store just down the street and I might could get something to use in the floor and toss the mats on top of.

You could try Velcro.
