Advice cleaning RV foam matress.

We just got back early from our first camping trip of the season. Was supposed to be a trip for my daughters 4th birthday since restrictions wouldn't allow for a party. Turned out to be a dud. She got dehydrated yesterday because she was refusing to drink enough water and ended up vomiting in her bed at 4am. She is fine now. Once we got back home with her vomit covered blankets and sleeping bag, got her to drink a bunch of water and get some rest. we would have went back out today but she got the mess on her bunk mattress and dinette cushions, so nowhere for her to sleep.
Had to go back this morning while grandpa babysat her to take down the camp site and tow the trailer home.

We pulled the mattress out of the bunk and the soiled dinette cushion before closing up the RV, now i just have to clean them. I am not worried about the cover on the bunk mattress. I can take that off and wash it on delicate, and then tumble dry for a bit and let it air dry the rest of the way. I have done that before.

My concern is the foam and the dinette cushion. I can't take the cover off of those cushions, previous owners re-upholstered them and they are stitched closed, no zippers or flaps to remove the foam.

Anyone have any advice? I would rather the RV not smell like vomit when we go out again in July. There wasn't too much on the mattresses, most of it was caught by the sleeping bag and the blanket we cover the mattress with, but some seeped through, and I guess she had some on her pants when she sat on the dinette cushion.

thanks in advance. It was beginning to become a nice relaxing trip until last nights events.

I do not know about your cushions. But we had a sick kid, when we got home, found the mattresses where all "sealed" in plastic. Like you a bit nervous, but they cleaned up well, just took a bit effort due to the size. I would have to talk with the DW, about what I did to clean it. I think we hosed everything down, and let it stand on end and dry for a week plus.

Unzip, and take a look, but I would get them opened up asap.

Just reread, re-upholstered, hum anything could be under there. I would start with an oxiclean solution, and a good strong shopvac.

These are just foam with a fabric cover. The bottom is some sort of vinyl but there is nothing between the foam and the cover. I have had the covers off before to do general cleaning and there are no barriers...
