Advice/Ideas for Kitchen Set Up

We are new owners to an Eagle HT FW 26.5 RLS and I am having difficulty setting up the kitchen in a sensible way with storage along the back wall above the window; along with storage over the sofa; and just limited cupboards over the sink. I know it is personal preference but I am hoping for some advice and ideas on how others set up their kitchens in a comfortable and sensible way. Thank you.

There is a pretty large pantry just to the left of the fridge and there are two large drawers just to the right of the sink to hold pans, etc. In addition, there is a "linen" closet just across the hall from the bathroom, next to the pantry. As far as the pantry is concerned, a guy, not me, could put some slidable shelves in it to separate the "goods" and make it easier to find them. Our 26.5 RLS is a 2012 model but I would guess there have been no major changes to the set-up since we bought it. We have been able to make room for everything in our kitchen in the overheads over the sink and just store other stuff in the overheads at the windows and the slide outs. We do put our wine and hard stuff in the cabinet under the television set. Impossible to get to with the slide in, but usually a person isn't drinking while the slides are in anyway.

Different rig, but some common-sense suggestions: store light stuff (paper goods, shopping bags, etc.) high and heavy stuff (canned items, cookware and pots&pans, etc.) low and close to wheels. Lesser used items stored - in our case since we primarily dry-camp, electrical appliances are under our bed. Go for lots of nested (Magma cookware) and collapsible items (bowls, colander, funnel, even teapot). Bottom-line - if you don't use it in a year, get rid of it.
