Inside our little hatch is a hook to put the wand on. I too have thought about making something up and hanging on the outside using the sticky for a command hook.

I leave mine hooked at the edge of the bumper(hands free) makes it easy to rinse your feet off or wash your hands during your stay. I also set a 5 gallon bucket underneath and set my strainer on top when in rinse off my fresh vegetables from the farmers market.
The bolt is a 3/8" x 1-1/2"sst and nut.
Did not have to drill a hole, it's already there to hold the end cap.

Washing feet occasionally. Washing hands. Mostly for washing dishes. I have a small table and a couple wash basins that go back there when we setup camp. I do not want a stinky grey tank, so we try really hard to make sure food doesn't go down the drain.
Oh, and I put an Oxygenics head in the shower, and moved that head to the outside. The one that came on the outdoor shower was total junk.

I use mine to wash dishes etc....no food particles in my grey tank. Also to bath the dogs when required. I hated the time spent to try and jam it back into the door area and installed a clip to hang it off and it stayed there all summer. I do not use my fresh water tank as I am in a seasonal site and hook up to city water. I simply turn off the water before leaving each time.
I also installed a clip to keep the door open without it flapping in the wind.

Mine is located between sewer hookups and electric. I can't imagine the thinking. The hose is in a drawer inside and the pocket is stuffed with insulation.

Mine is located between 2 slides. I have seen others simply take a dowel amd a shower curtain and hang it on each top of the slide. my sewer line went through the area where the shower is located, but last time down I bought 2 45 degree connectors and now route the sewer hose behind the tires and then out.

I've never used it, and can't think of a reason to.

Gosh, without this thread as a reminder, I had totally forgotten we even have an external shower. Hmmm, guess I 'might' use it to rinse Farmer's Market veggies, but don't want to make a muddy spot outside for someone to accidently step into!

Might use it if we boondocked more but since we are almost always in a CG we use the CG facilities. Guess we could use it to wash off the dogs but so far the dogs have not needed it.

"MUDDY spot", that's why I have the 5 gal. bucket and the strainer fits right on the edge. They sell a 3 gal. bucket if the 5 is too tall to store it. Always have either flowers or grass for dumping the water.

No usage here, either! It's just one more faucet to have to blow out when winterizing.

This is our second TT with an outdoor shower and we used it every time we go out. It is used for rinsing plates, dishes, washing hands, filling the coffee pot, etc. When we had our kids, now empty nesters, we rinsed them off all the time.

We use it to wash the dogs if they get dirty.

Never use it...in most campgrounds, and in many boondocking areas it is illegal to dump any food particles on the ground...plus, it draws bugs, animals and decaying matter can smell. In some parts of the country the grey water is considered black waste if it has food particles in it.
Agree with creating a muddy spot others have to deal with once we leave. It's amazing how one person dumping something on the ground effects others. And in a campground, when you have sites occupied daily what one does, does have an effect on everyone after you.

Mine is in the same compartment as the remote pulls for the tanks. I installed a soap dispenser and use it at the dump station to wash my hands after removing my gloves. That's the only use it gets, but I like it.

Never use ours either. Just have to remember it during winterizing. There is already a soap dispenser installed by ours. It is also by the pull handles for the waste water. Since we normally don't use our fresh water tank, it is basically useless to us.

I have the outdoor shower on the back of our TT and use it all the time. When we go to the beach, we shower at the rear of the TT in our bathing suits. I keep a big pump bottle of soap and have the interlocking grated plastic floor tiles to stand on. This way we keep almost all the beach sand out of the TT. Works great for us!
