Another Sale....Thetford buy out,

From RV Business

Thetford Acquired by Monomoy Capital Partners

Monomoy Capital Partners, a middle-market private investment firm focused on operational value creation, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Thetford Corporation from The Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation, a private investment company.

I'm thinking in about another year we are going to start seeing these investment companies start to dump the RV Business. They are milking the industry right now but when these soaring gas prices, inflation the push for electric energy and the overwhelming inventory out there its nothing but a big invitation for this to happen..

That's after they squeeze out the more expensive parts of the payroll (the experienced employees) and find a way to make something cheaper as opposed to better or better value.

And another one bites the dust…

“Focused on operational value creation” — translation: “Focused on squeezing out more profits…”

I worked the last 10 years of my carrier for a company that basically got bought out (Black Rock) by and investment company.. This particular one brought in a management team that directed focus strictly on profit and away from customer support. Another thing they did and i hear other investment companies do the same, is completely take over the Companies HR Departments and impose policy that many feel are political. Our quarterly bonuses disappeared, employee perks gone, training budgets shrunk, quality of health benefits dropped drastically while out of pocket cost skyrocketed, retirement benefits replaced by 401K with low company match and they expected more out of top management on salary, lots of hours. I really feel for the employees at these RV Companies getting the squeeze by these investment companies,. With the cost cutting tactics they impose, there is no doubt it effects quality and many many unhappy employees and families. It's all about money

I believe they have corporate connections to 8 in various forms. I'm not sure how many they own outright.

Firm believer in voting with your dollars! Don’t like what a company is doing don’t buy their products. Support the companies that have the same beliefs/morals that you do.
