Another slides question

Our Seismic is just over a year old although we didn't pick it up until this past February. Now I find the biggest slide acting like it wants to "stall" when bringing it in. Sometimes, I have to open it a little bit the bring it back in to get it in all the way. I also find it works better if I help it along by grabbing on to the trim and pulling it in.

Is this normal? I do hear a little squeaking.

Thanks,
Ken

Is it an electric Swinteck? sp? If it is that's the way mine works. Hold my breath every time I go to close it.

I'll look it up and let you know.

There is a good article on slides in the current Trailer Life Mag. Says the most common problem is not enough power from the battery bank. Make sure your battery is fully charged to provide max power to slide motor.

Which month was that issue? I'd like to read that.

In any case, not the issue with mine. Two brand new batteries and the shore line hooked up. I decided to drop it off for a week at the dealer and let him "deal" with it (pun intended)

Thanks,
Ken
