Hi Dee, glad you did the right thing. It gets easier the more you do it.

By the way, Kingston was my old stomping grounds. Went to elementary school there, plus did my military training up in Barriefield. Will be coming to Kingston in fall of 2012 for a military reunion, will spend a few hours skulking around Old Fort Henry.

Kingston's a beautiful city - spent quite awhile there myself on the base with E-Sqn back in 89.

I go back many more years than 89. I was a soldier apprentice in the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers back in 57-59 and spent 13 years in the Cdn military before becoming a police officer.

I know I highjacked this thread and I apologize but how about a military thread, I bet there are lots of stories out there?

For now, how 'bout "Campfire Chat".... Stories of Military Experience would be a neat thread to start!

5 seconds worth of anti freeze will protect the pump.. BUT I found a better way to winterize your RV... PARK IT UNDER A PALM TREE. This will be my 3rd winter doing that..

Palm trees don't grow very well here, so the pink stuff is our only choice, regrettably.

I took a drive out to the family farm to-day and winterized my 5th wheel. It took me about 1 hour and 1 1/2 jugs of anti-freeze with enough left over to do all my traps. I loaded my cupboards with Bounce sheets and made sure all cupboards and drawers were free from any food stuffs.

The only company I had were the two farm dogs(Great Pyrenees) Sampson and Delila who decided to get into a bunch of burrs and were a real mess when I left.
