Anyone have an add-a-room?

Just wondering if anyone has an add a room and what they think about it. How long does it take to set it up and take down, how often do you use it and when. Pros and cons.
Thanks

We had an add-a-room for our tent trailer. Only time we set it up was when we camped longer than just a weekend. Not worth setting it up on shorter trips. Also, since we live in Oregon any time we camped near the coast the winds were too harsh. In the woods on calm days it was awesomeand added a lot of space to our unit.

We had one with our pop-up. It is nice once you get it set up. Took at least 30 minutes to get it set up. The first few times it took longer because where the zippers connected was very stiff and getting them started was a hassle. After it had been set up a few times it was much easier. If we were staying one night we did not bother.

I have one. Setting it up by myself takes under an hour... I only use it if I am staying at a place for over a week... IF you have a power awning (esp a Crappee of Colorado) you will need to also add some "jack poles" at each end of the roller tube.. (You know those ratcheting poles the trucks use to hold loads in place) I put one in each corner of the the awning tube and then tied it down... This has been up right now since Nov 1 and has with stood several wind storms...

Had one with my PUP. Somewhat of a PITA to set up without help, but the extra enclosed space was nice......I set up a table in there for prepping food and cooked in there. Also a nice shady place for coolers and a spot to pull stuff into to keep dry when the clouds open up.
