The most accurate information can be found here;

https://www.wildlandfire.az.gov/

Coronado and parts of Chihuahua are still open. We are headed that direction soon.

I'm working about an hour south of Flagstaff. They closed the NF to the south, north and east of us to camping, so we're sitting in a small area still open. No fires allowed though.

We are in Hon-Dah and word has it they will be closing some of the campsites. They are thinking that some people from the valley will want to come up and have a fire. Let me tell you it is really dry up here. and the wind is blowing 20 to 30 mph. If something happens it will spread very quickly.

We are dry camping outside Williams this weekend. Just checked and we should be OK, just need to follow the stage 2 restrictions..

Are you camping up here or just visiting?

Have plans to spend a week at Kaibab Lake (Williams AZ) next month. For now it's still open. Got our fingers crossed it remains open.

Here's a link to some maps which show specific areas in AZ that are currently closed.

We just got back from the White Mountains. It was VERY dry and windy. Stage III meant no outdoor flames at all.

OTOH, fishing was great!! Most were holdover trout so sizes were 18 to 20 in, cutthroat and rainbow. Caught more than 10 each morning. Favorite lure colors were yellow, orange and brown. Flies, spinners and spoons all worked well.
