Awning

I have a carefree awning on my 2014 Melbourne and it makes a terrible sound when rolling it in or out. The arms seem to be binding in the rails. What is the best lubricant for this area ?.

It's probably the hydraulic cylinders, they are known to require lubrication. Use a dry silicone spray on the rods as it will not attract dirt. See if the solves the noise. Use it on the rails too.

X2 what Grumpy said.

Ours made a loud groaning on our Greyhawk when retracting and extending. Dry silicone on the rails quieted it down a little. After spraying the rods, the groaning was gone.
