Use it in the rain and let Mother Nature take care of it.

I've had good results with Dawn dish soap. I wet the awning then squirt on some Dawn then use a car wash brush to spread it around and scrub a little. Then I roll it up and let it sit for 20 - 30 minutes. Then unroll it and rinse. Does a pretty decent job. I have heard that Awesome works well (available at dollar stores) but have not tried it myself. Good luck!

We've had success using Dawn and a little bleach and then like Gary & Elaine said.

+1 for the dish soap and bleach. I also use a magic eraser mop to put it on and scrub with. Leave wet and roll up for about 30 minutes. Unroll and rinse. Click image for larger version

I’ve used a product called Citrus Chisel made by Betco for years now on two different campers with great results. I buy it at a local janitorial supply by the gallon but it is easily purchased online as well. Hit the awning with a garden hose to wet it, spray on a diluted solution of the cleaner, scrub with a long handled deck brush, and rinse. 15 minute job from start to finish. We use the exact same process and materials to clean the entire camper shell and front cap a couple of times a year as well. I’ve yet to find a better product for easily removing those unsightly black gutter streaks. This stuff just works!

X2 Bleach and water mixture about 50/50 in a small spray bottle. Wet the awning down and spray it real good. Roll it up for 20 minutes or so and then roll it out. Rinse with a hose and then scrub any stubborn spots. Works well. Of course, leave it open until it dries to roll up.

I use "Spray Power" by Crown. Spray it on full strenght, give it a light scrub, with the car wash brush. Roll it up for 20 minutes. Open it, give it a scrub and rinse. Works really well. This last time, when I was done, I sprayed on a anti mold solution for deck furniture. So far, it is staying nice and clean.
