These lights are great. Trailer looks good at night and everyone around is curious where we got them. Thanks for posting this thread! I just plug into the outlet nearby with an extension cord.

After debating for about a month, I finally caved and bought the lights. Can't wait for them to arrive!

Did you get the 150's or 300's?

I thought I read somewhere on here that someone had hooked these into the connection on the fridge that allowed them to run the lights off the battery. but I couldnt find it.

I believe it is a different thread. I do think he refers to it somewhere in here though.

I believe that would be me. Yes, I've connected my lights to the 12-volt on the fridge. Feel free to shoot me any questions that you have.

I'd love to connect the strips to fridge but someone scared me by saying they wouldn't advise tapping into the fridge outlet just in case the lights did something to harm the fridge. They suggested getting power from a 12V light circuit.

So here's a shot of the back of my fridge.

Would I be able to tap into the wires with the blue connectors that run to the right of the 120 fridge outlet?

Essentially that is what I did. I tapped the wire that feeds the fridge.

Right, but that's what scares me a bit. I was wondering if there was another power source behind the fridge I can tap in to.

For my fridge fan I tapped into another place. Can't exactly remember where it is back there.

I will have to post pictures later, don't have any handy right now.

But when I installed the fridge fan it is actually pulling its power from the fridge so that it only has power when the fridge is in operation.
