I got mine today and those were the one's I bought. I also got an "E" mail from the manufacturer/seller when they were shipped with a direct contact address in case I had any problems.

You guys are going to talk me right into a set of these. So you can roll them right up with your awning? I have a manual awning and I`m tired of messing with awning hooks and wires that have to be taken down and put up every time.

Yep, roll them right up with your awning. No clips, no hooks. Just clean the awning tube with alcohol, peel adhesive strip and press into place. Simple.

X2 Crabman,
They seem like a cool option and I like just rolling them up with the awning.

I actually considered the globe lights too..... Until I saw some at a campground. Man were they bright! Too bright for me.

I can't wait to see everyone's install pics. What are the opinions on the install either on the awning roller or on the camper wall under where the awning attaches. I was thinking the latter so I can permanently install them and run The power tied into the 12v.

Right now i am thinking that i will attach mine to the roller. I am not sure how well they will hold up being exposed to the sun all the time. I will post pics once i get them installed next weekend.

Mine are on the awning tube. They are never exposed to the sun. Only the plug ends stick out get direct sunlight.

How do I know what length my awning is? I have a 19h but it's in storage and don't want to have to go there just to measure.

I think the LED awning lights are a great idea. I would need to get to sets for the size of my awning. Can you connect two separate light sets? Is it as easy as clipping together or do you need a special part or have to splice? Info on website wasn't specific. Thanks

The multi color change set i got from Amazon LINK(same as pictured on page 1 of this thread) are 16' long LED strand. You can pick any of several colors at the push of a button. Very nice set that has everything you need in one box. If you need to splice 2 strands together you can easily do with butt splices or solder and heat shrink. i will see if i can post a pick of the ends.
The white end attaches to the transformer and sensor. The 4 wires can be spliced to another set.
