Check this out. Then you can keep the power supply instead of killing it. It may come in handy.

I ordered the extension today, and a new water filter. Those 2 things along with the item in my link gave me the $25 needed for free shipping on the "add-on" item.

Re: Awning Lighting

Well finally had sun and 65 degrees today (and are we going to have some flooding) so I finally got to my install. I was excited about this before but after seeing it after dark tonight I am really happy I did this. Thanks for starting this post because I would have never done this otherwise!

Here are a few pics of the lights

I ordered my first set without the power supply and it came with this short pig tail. So when I ordered my new set with a power supply I wasn't expecting to get this pig tail, but it also came with the little short pig tail. This little short pig tail is what I used to connect my lights to the 12-volt power supply to the refrigerator.

To those who want to hard-wire it in, I wrote it up in my install thread:

Just had our first trip of the season, and these lights were a big hit! I hadn't even finished showing my camping buddy all the features before he had his phone out to place an order for a set...
