awning warranty

Has anyone had any problems with their awning within the 2 year Jayco warranty period. I understood everything was covered in the 2 year period. I saw a post on another forum with a problem after 1 year and Jayco said it was not covered, that the awning only had a 90 day warranty. I had never heard anything like this. Anyone with experience???

I have not but I did register mine with the manufacturer. I don't recall what their warranty period is but I'm sure it was longer than the 90 days Jayco told you.

I had some minor issues within the first 2 years, I do not recall exactly when, our dealer fixed it right up.

I suspect the usual thing, a poor service department.

We have had 2 issues with our awnings within the first 2 years and Jayco covered them both. The third issue happened this past Fall and it was covered under our extended warranty. So 1 ripped awning material = replaced. 2 Non functioning motors = replaced.
