Back-up camera advice

My wife and I drive a large heavy duty Dodge Ram 2500 4WD to haul around our little Jayco Jay Flight SLX7. We are looking for a back-up camera for the Dodge to make hitch ups a little easier. It's our Christmas gift to each other. Do any of you have any recommendations on good ones?

If you'd said rear trailer cams, you'd have had many responses. Truck hitching? No big deal with or without a camera. Save your money and invest in a different camping expense! Camping...where you spend a fortune to live like a homeless person. Or so some people think!

You can buy inexpensive ones that attach to the license plate and run off back up tail lights. I have seen them at car parts stores, etc. Pyle brand sells for maybe $100.

But having a built in one in my Jeep, I still like the wife spotting for me, as you need a good eye to tell you when you are close enough over the ball to drop it on quickly.

Good point that I forgot to mention! A spotter while hitching is always a help, with or without a camera. I have a 5er with the Reese Goosebox, along with a folded up bed cover when we're camping. I have visuals that I use in the bed cam to know when I'm pretty close to drop it onto the ball. The left-to-right part is where a spotter helps there, as well.
